Lobster GoGo

In July 2018, GreenBuild was awarded the job to construct a new fast-casual restaurant, Lobster GoGo, by New York City’s renovated South Street Seaport. The restaurant opened to the public on October 15th, 2018.

Project Completion

October 2018

The final touches were put on the Lobster GoGo site and the restaurant was prepared for its grand opening.


 

Work in Progress

August 2018

GreenBuild was responsible for the complete gut and new fit out of the facility.



Zwanger Pesiri Radiology

Project Completion

June 2017 – June 2018

In June 2018, GreenBuild completed a year-long project at the Zwanger Pesiri Radiology center in Elmhurst, New York. The job involved a full gut and demolition of the previous furniture store as well as raising the first floor to accommodate the required ceiling height in the basement for the 10,000 square foot radiology center.

 Truss Delivery and Installation

July 14th, 2016

The old trusses in the kitchen (left photo) have been removed and the new ones have been delivered and installed (right photo).

 


 

Skylight and Roof Installation

June 7th, 2016

The installation of the new skylights and roof have been completed.


 

Skylight, Coping Stone, and Roof Replacement

May 9th, 2016

New skylight frames have been installed on the roof. Large flat roof replacement and coping stone installation above the Great Hall are in progress.


Channel Support and Copper Wall Flashing

January 19th, 2016

Steel channel support for skylight has been installed. Copper wall flashing above skylight in progress.


Roof Shed and Slate Roof

January 4th, 2016

Slate roof is 95% complete. Removal of existing shed is complete and framing work for new skylights is in progress.

Ceiling and Steel Support

November 10th, 2015

Ceiling protection installed in great hall for roof replacement. New steel supports installed for existing A/C condensors


Excavation and Electrical Work

Excavation for new drainage gravel at rear foundation wall and relocation of kitchen electric panel in progress.


Plumbing

September 11th, 2015

The plumbing repair work is in progress for the sanitary lines in the basement.

The old pipes were heavily clogged with debris and extensive blockage reduced their flow and capacity, as can be seen in the photos below.


 

Union Bar & Kitchen Completed

The renovation of 300 Spring Street for new restaurant Union Bar & Kitchen has now been completed.

We stripped and refinished the concrete floors. The existing bar was completely resurfaced, with new millwork and granite countertops installed. The bar was also extended to reach the front of the building, where outside servers will be able to access the bar directly from the patio. New tile work, millwork, lighting, and other interior design finishes was installed throughout. The store front itself was be opened up via new french doors, allowing easy access to the planned sidewalk/patio seating.

A Spring Street Restaurant

Greenbuild is currently working on the renovation of a space for a new restaurant at 300 Spring Street, NYC. This project is expected to be completed in 5 weeks from the start date.

We’ll be stripping and refinishing the concrete floors. The existing bar will be completely resurfaced, with new millwork and granite countertops installed. The grand opening of Union Bar & Kitchen is scheduled for May 9th, 2014.
